As our students approach the obstacles that face them in this world, are they equipped to overcome them? Our goal is to prepare our students to stand boldly and powerfully in this world, armed with the five stones of Christianity: Worship, Community, Service, Faith, Mission.

"Then he took his staff in hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine." ~ I Samuel 17:40

High School (Grades 9-12)

  • Sunday Mornings: During the summer, High School students meet at 11:15am, during second service, in “The Quarry” student building. During this time we hang out, eat donuts, do some crazy stuff, worship God and teach from the bible creatively. This is a great opportunity to get plugged in to the high school youth ministry and get challenged about what it means for a student to follow Jesus.
  • Wednesday Nights: Throughout the summer we will be meeting on most Wednesday nights for Swim and Studies and the Corcoran’s house from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. On these nights we hang out, swim, eat junk food and study the Bible. The Corcoran’s address is 24903 Canston Court, Spring, TX 77379.
  • Discipleship Groups: Small groups of either guys or girls that meet weekly with a youth leader to challenge each other in faith and hold each other accountable. Call Brandon in the church offices if you are interested in getting involved.
  • Where's Brando?: Find Brandon at the Student Ministries booth in the foyer after church services on Sunday mornings or e-mail him.

Junior High (Grades 6-8)

  • Sunday Mornings: Meet with us in the “Quarry” at 9:30am for worship, games, funny video clips, introspective looks into the Bible, and find out how God relates to us today all while hanging out with fellow teens and youth leaders.
  • Swim and Studies: We will meet most Tuesday nights this summer (June 15th, 29th, July 6th, 13th, 20th and Aug 3rd)—from 6:30 to 8:30 at one of our family's pools. We swim then study. This summer we will be studying thru the "Lettuce"  Let us ... passages. Contact Sheldon Jefferson for directions.

We always have other exciting things going on. There are other great events such as retreats, conferences, service opportunities and all-nighters. Drop by the “Quarry” on Sunday mornings to get plugged in, and please sign up for a login on our website and ask to be added to the group Youth Ministry—Jr High.
