Recurring giving via ACH is the most convenient way to give. It just takes a few minutes to set up, and your giving will automatically be sent to Northside on the recurring schedule you set. See “Set Up Recurring Giving” above to set up recurring giving.

To edit your scheduled or recurring giving, log in to Pushpay.com and at the top right side of the page you will see your “Recurring gifts”.  Click on “Edit” and you will be able to change the amount, the frequency, payment method or the timing of your gifts, or to pause or cancel your scheduled giving.

Your giving record is held in your profile on the church database (CCB). Both your Pushpay online giving and in-service giving is included in your giving record. Your first time accessing CCB will require creating a login by clicking “Request Account”. You will be emailed a link to activate your account. Once you have logged into CCB, click on your name in the upper right of the page to access your settings. From the drop-down, click on “Profile”. Just under your personal information is a menu, and “Financial” is the rightmost menu item. Click on “Financial” and you’ll see your most recent transactions, and you also will see a box for “Printable statements”. Click on “Giving Statements” and from here you can select whether it is just for you or your entire family, the date range, etc. Finally, when you click on “Run Report”, you will get a report of giving for the date range you selected that you can print or save digitally.

The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives.

At Northside, we believe what the Bible teaches in Malachi 3:9-10, and what Jesus teaches in Matthew 22, on tithing. We also give offerings to God, which are gifts above and beyond our tithe. It is important to understand that giving to the church—whether tithe or offering— is used to maintain, grow, and provide for the local and global church community.

Tithes and offerings are most often undesignated, meaning that we use the funds for the normal operation of our church. However, we sometimes open other funds for short periods of time. Our children’s and student ministries often fundraise for camp scholarships and our Partnerships ministry raises money for Mission Trip Sponsorships; those fundraising timeframes are when you might see additional fund options to designate one-time donations.

We encourage givers to use ACH/bank transfer rather than credit cards. The single best way to reduce fees is to give using an automated transfer from your bank by ACH, for which we pay a very small transaction fee.

Your information is held securely by the Church Community Builder system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.

You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled.

Yes, you may make large donations online, but we suggest that you consider giving via bank wire or ACH to minimize transaction fees, and maximize the reach of generosity. Please email [email protected] for instructions on wiring donations.
