Beginning Sunday, August 20, we will be walking through the Red Letter Challenge, which is a 40-day discipleship challenge that will introduce you to the five main principles of being a disciple of Jesus. Jesus spent most of his time teaching the five values of Being, Forgiving, Serving, Giving, and Going. These principles will be our focus as we work through the challenge together.

This challenge is something we are taking on in every age group in our church – children, students, and adults alike. Our hope is to create opportunities for each age group to have peer conversations to spur each other on in each of these values, as well as to create family conversations around being disciples of Jesus who make disciples. We want to see everyone go through this challenge together, and it is based on this book by Zach Zehnder. It is a daily challenge to dig into Scripture and live it out.

This is going to be a really exciting time for all of us, as we grow in our understanding of who Jesus is, who he has called us to be, and what he has called us to do. Make sure you sign up to join a Red Letter Challenge group, which will provide others to help you walk out this challenge well. RLC groups will meet on Sunday mornings at 930, 11, and 12 as well as Sunday afternoons and Monday through Thursday evenings.
